Welcome Alex Walker trainee surveyor to the team. Alex will be working on the WICET project while completing a certificate IV in Surveying at the Central Institute of Technology.
EXPANSION INTO QUEENSLAND

Xcel has been awarded a contract with Worley Parsons on the WICET project in Gladstone Queensland. First stage is scheduled to run for 36 months. We will be taking on the role as Audit surveyors and establishing the primary control for the large coal export terminal.
CONTRACT COMPLETION - Monadelphous
- 24 October 2011
Pluto offsite and utilities contract with Monadelphous has been successfully completed. Well done to all involved. This project duration was 24 months and a big appreciation goes out to Chad Hearne (senior surveyor), Dave Armstrong (senior Surveyor) and Dean Parker (survey assistant) for their efforts for working on this project from start to finish.

Xcel has been awarded the Gorgon Civil and Underground Services contract with Leighton contractors. This is Xcel largest contract award to date.
CONTRACT AWARD - Thiess

Xcel has been awarded a short term contract with Thiess to assist them in the completion of their site preparation contract on the Gorgon Project.
ADDITIONAL WORK AT PLUTO

Xcel is working with UGL on the alignment and testing of the compressor train crane rails.
